This is a licensed People to People trip. The US has just opened up Cuba to U.S. citizens only if they are a part of an organized educational group that wants to engage in meaningful interaction with the people of Cuba.
Meet in Miami on Saturday night, December 8 for orientation before an early charter flight to Havana on the morning of December 9. During our 7 days and 7 nights in Cuba, we will be in and around Havana for four days and spend about 3 days outside of the city visiting smaller communities and rural areas. To reserve your spot, a non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is due at the time of registration.
The price includes 8 nights lodging (7 in Cuba and 1 in Miami), round-trip charter flight from Miami-Havana, all meals, airport transfers in Miami and Havana, local transportation in Cuba, bilingual interpreters and guides throughout the visit. Price does not include round-trip airfare to Miami from your home airport. Lodging in Cuba will be double or triple occupancy in modest hotels and/or guesthouses.
